what have I done? The only phrase going through her head. She knew the mistake as soon as she made it, but it was too late. It was over. Now, she was going to be punished. She hates being punished, but then again, is there really any other way to feel about it? It's not pleasant. It's not fun. It's degrading. Humiliating. Painful, and not just physically. She hates upsetting Daddy. The look, the tone, the words ... they're usually just as bad as the actual punishment! She was beginning to wonder how long it would take before she'd finally learn to stop doing such things. Childish. Stupid. Irresponsible. Selfish. She could make an entire list of those words!
